Leila’s poems have been recognized by Southword Journal’s Gregory O’Donoghue Poetry Prize (first place), Narrative Magazine’s 30 Below Contest (second place), and North American Review’s James Hearst Poetry Prize (honorable mention).
Leila’s poems have recently appeared in Best New Poets 2015, poets.org, and Annunciation. She has poems forthcoming in Narrative, North American Review, American Literary Review, Southern Indiana Review, and Southword Journal.
Pushcart Prize Nominations
